100 Day Challenge

Afrocentricity International supports the economic, cultural and educational elevation of African people in an effort to create cultural consciousness.

On November 25, 2018 Afrocentricity International launched the African Heritage & Cultural Preservation fund.

At the close of the evening, Dr. Ama Mazama issued a challenge to the entire Afrocentric community: we must take up the call to support, finance, and build our own institutions.

She followed this statement by making a personal donation of $10,000 to support the fund, and encouraged others to do the same.

Will you heed the Call?

During the first 100 days, we’re looking for 1,000 supporters to accept the challenge by making a symbolic donation of $100-dollars, before March 5, 2019.

“If you have a shilling or twenty-five cents to give away, before you give it to other charities see that all other Negro charities are first attended to. So long as there is need in your race, attend to it first and always. Never deny help to your own race.”
